It’s easy to grow vegetables on your own

These days many people are planting vegetables and fruits at their home whether it’s in a garden or a balcony or near a window sill. It’s easy to grow vegetables and fruits on your own. Also, it’s good for your own inner peace, you will feel happy while doing this. Many people plant just because they found it stress relieving or a hobby.

It’s a simple process and after when you will eat those veggie or fruits you will feel nothing but pleasure. You learn to appreciate amazing fresh flavours when you grow your own food and with no plastic wrapping, it is a guilt-free trip.

If you have less space then you can use small pots and can grow tomatoes, chillies and perpetual spinach, you can now grow them all in your own little garden. And for compost or fertilizers, you can even use your kitchen’s waste. Google is a great help!

You can use small pots less than 9cm to recycle yoghurt pots and coffee cups, anything can be used as long as you make a few drainage holes in the bottom. Plastic lids from food pots make good drip trays to save your windowsills (window’s side space).

If the seed is large then do not so it so deep and make sure the compost is moist. You can use an old plastic water bottle with holes pierced in the lid to sprinkle on the surface of the compost.

You could also cover the tops of the pots with foil to keep the moisture in until the seeds grow. Then take it off so they can get some air. When your seed will grow a little grown-up you can plant them outside terracotta pots.

Share the pride you will get from healthy food nurtured by your own efforts.
