While the movie faced massive protest and bans in India, it seems that people outside India are going crazy for it. Recently, San Francisco Bay Area families bought a whole show of the movie theatre to see Padmaavat and there was a dress code that everyone should dress like Padmavati.

Trade analyst Komal Nahta shared a video on Twitter and wrote, “San Francisco Bay Area families bought a whole show of the movie theatre (in Sunnyvale, California) to see Padmaavat and there was a dress code – ‘Everyone should dress like Padmavati.’ And before the show, there was this dancing.”

Padmaavat is a movie based on the life of Mewar’s royal Queen Padmini. During the shoot of the film due to some rumors, the film started facing oppositions from the Rajput groups. The opposition has become so intense that various state governments have banned the film’s release.
