Padmaavat BO collection Day 3: The Film is setting BO afire

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat is making new records daily and setting the ticket booth on fire. After hitting the Rs 50-crore mark in just a 2 day period of its release (comprising paid previews), the flick has made approximately Rs 32.50 crore on January 27, as per early approximations.

The film director, actress Deepika Padukone, actors Ranveer Singh, Shahid Kapoor and the squad of Padmaavat must be taking an easy breathe. The movie has been become one of the the hottest topics ever since the movie maker started shooting in the city of Jaipur.

Numerous groups have been making protests in opposition to Padmaavat, stating that the movie deforms olden times and degrades the respect of Rajput queen, Rani Padmini.

After passing out several obstacles, the period drama reached the movie halls, and in spite of not being screened in a few portions of the nation, the movie is doing very well at the box office. In actual fact, the squad of Padmaavat did not endorse their movie in any way.

The Deepika, Ranveer and Shahid-starrer was hitting news headlines every other day, courtesy the debate enclosing it.

Trade forecaster Taran Adarsh tweeted, “#Padmaavat has a HUMONGOUS Day 2… Had it been a smooth release [some states are not screening the film], the all-India biz would’ve touched ₹ 40 cr… Wed 5 cr, Thu 19 cr, Fri 32 cr. Total: ₹ 56 cr. India biz… SUPERB!”

In actual fact, the movie is doing really well in the global zones.

“#Padmaavat is on a RECORD-SMASHING SPREE in key international markets… The growth on Fri [vis-à-vis Thu] is PHENOMENAL,” wrote Taran Adarsh.

He revealed the performance of the film in numbers, “AUSTRALIA Thu A$ 363,973, Fri A$ 537,530 = Total: A$ 901,503 [₹ 4.65 cr]@Rentrak#Padmaavat. NEW ZEALAND – Thu NZ$ 64,265, Fri NZ$ 98,460 – Total: NZ$ 162,725 [₹ 76.10 lakhs] #Padmaavat”

In other tweet, he stated, “UK – Thu £ 115,710, Fri £ 143,642 [some locations yet to be updated], Total: £ 259,352 [₹ 2.34 cr]@Rentrak#Padmaavat. GERMANY -Thu € 66,364, Fri biz yet to be updated, Total: € 66,364 [₹ 52.45 lakhs]@Rentrak”

He continued, “An IMPORTANT reason why #Padmaavat is scoring BIG numbers in Australia – besides the merits, of course – is the release strategy… Opened in all 3 chains: Hoyts, Event and Village [unlike other Indian films that have to choose between Hoyts and Event]… Paramount achieved it,” stating that Sony Entertainment must take this tactic in account for Akshay Kumar’s PadMan.
